There are many stray dogs and cats in Taiwan. Each year, around 80 thousand stray animals are brought into the public animal shelters. Eventually, the animal euthanasia ban took effect in Taiwan on February 6th in 2017, so it has been made illegal to kill stray dogs and cats in all the public shelters. We do not kill them now, so what is the next step? A coffee shop helping stray animals. The shop became a place for stray animals and customers to interact and initiated several stray animal adoption projects. The owners have finally achieved their goal of running the shop.
